Building a Brighter BV Ribbon Cutting

Join us on Tuesday, August 5th at 3:00 PM at Yogi Bear Campground as we celebrate the completion of a truly inspiring community project!

This special ribbon cutting ceremony will honor the beautifully constructed campground cabins built by talented students from the Brandon Valley School District. Under the expert guidance of building trades teacher Tom Grode and generous mentorship from local builder Jarrod Smart, these students poured their time, energy, and craftsmanship into bringing this project to life.

This initiative, known as Building a Brighter BV, showcases the power of hands-on education and community collaboration. Proceeds from the cabin construction were used to provide each student with their own tool belt and set of tools—valuable investments in their futures. Additional profits are being donated to the Brandon Valley Community Foundation, further extending the impact of this meaningful work.
