From our perspective, cooperatives are one of THE most ingenious and visionary forms of business to ever be developed. Take for example the electric cooperative just think of what has come from a group of people joining their resources together to fill a need. Today U.S. electric cooperatives maintain over 2.4-million miles of power lines and serve electricity to more than 42-million people. It was less than 75 years ago that most folks in rural areas did not have ANY electricity. The progressive and determined nature of the founders who ignited the development of electric cooperatives is almost mind-boggling.
